El-Yurt Umidi Foundation ANNOUNCES open scholarship competitions in mathematics, chemistry, biology and geology
The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the Ministry of Public Education, the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan in order to study the rich scientific and practical experience accumulated in the most advanced countries of the world in this field, which is very important for the innovative development of Uzbekistan. In cooperation with the Agency for Youth Affairs and the State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources, the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation for Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Geology has allocated 300 * places for professors and teachers, young scientists, researchers and practitioners. announces open scholarship competitions for master's, doctoral, internship and professional development programs).
Fund scholarships are divided into the following programs in the prescribed manner:
- advanced training in foreign educational and scientific institutions - for a period of up to 2 months;
- Internship in foreign scientific, educational, creative institutions, government agencies, enterprises and other organizations - for up to 6 months;
- to study on the basis of the master's program in the leading foreign higher education and scientific institutions - for 1-2 years;
- Doctoral program in foreign educational and scientific institutions - for 1-4 years.
Candidates wishing to participate in the competition must meet the following requirements:
The following persons may not participate in the competitions:
for master's programs - those under 23 and over 40, as well as those who previously studied abroad for a master's degree in a similar specialty;
for doctoral programs - those under 25 and over 45, as well as those who have previously received a PhD or doctorate;
on advanced training and internship programs - those under 25 and over 50, as well as those who have studied abroad for the last three years on the basis of one of the programs of the Fund;
those with less than 2 years of work experience, including pedagogical experience, for all programs in the specialty chosen for study abroad;
those working in elected bodies of state power;
those whose convictions for committing serious or very serious crimes have not been completed or whose convictions have not been expunged.
In emergencies, based on the recommendation of the head of the ministry or agency, the commissions decide to allow employees of relevant ministries and agencies between the ages of 45 and 50 to participate in the selection for master's and doctoral programs, respectively.
The competition for study abroad is conducted in the state and / or Russian language.
Tests in a foreign language are conducted in the language of the country of study or in English (if teaching at a foreign higher education institution or research institution is conducted in English).
The list of documents submitted for participation in the competition:
Candidates for study abroad in all programs must submit the following documents to the Foundation:
a) reference-lens of the appropriate sample (questionnaire);
b) an application addressed to the chairman of the commission in the prescribed form, indicating the form and direction of education;
c) 2 color photographs of 3.5 x 4.5 size;
d) a copy of diplomas confirming graduation from a higher education institution, as well as academic degree (PhD, PhD and Ph.D.), academic title (senior researcher, associate professor, professor);
d) a copy of the employment history;
e) copy of passport;
j) medical certificate of the established sample;
h) a valid national or international certificate (National Qualification Certificate, IELTS, TOEFL, etc.) determining the level of knowledge of a foreign language, if any.

Candidates for advanced training and internship abroad, in addition to the above documents, submit the following documents to the Admissions Committee of the Fund:
a) a recommendation signed by the head of the procuring entity or his deputy, based on the need for training and internship abroad by the candidate (for candidates who have successfully passed all the qualifying stages);
b) a letter of guarantee of employment signed by the head of the applicant organization or his deputy after the return of training or internship abroad by the candidate (for candidates who successfully passed all the qualifying stages);
c) training or internship program;
g) preliminary agreement (if any) with a foreign institution on the implementation of the program of advanced training or internship.
Candidates for a master's degree program abroad must submit the following in addition to the above documents:
a) a copy of the diploma application;
- Travel expenses of scholarship holders to reach the place of study by all types of transport (in both directions, up to once a year);
- living, meals and transportation expenses of scholarship holders during their study abroad;
- Procurement of necessary educational and scientific literature, including textbooks, scientific articles, subscription to the electronic database of articles and scientific literature (one-time payment at the beginning of the educational program);
- Medical insurance of scholarship holders while studying abroad;
- Other expenses of scholarship holders related to study abroad by the decision of the Board of Trustees of the Fund.

SELECTION COMPETITION FOR TRAINING FOR MASTER'S AND DOCTORAL PROGRAMS ABROAD
Selection of candidates is carried out in four stages:
Phase 1 involves reviewing the documents and preliminary selection of candidates who best meet the established requirements (age, required work experience in the specialty, availability of scientific articles, compliance of the chosen specialty with the established priorities of the country's development, and other requirements).
This stage is conducted by the staff of the Fund.
In the 2nd stage, the candidates selected in the 1st stage will be tested on the level of knowledge of foreign languages with those who do not have a valid international certificate.
In Phase 3, the candidates selected in Phase 2 will be interviewed and tested on their knowledge of the specialty, intellectual abilities, as well as the questionnaire prepared by the Foundation. (with the participation of experts from ministries and departments, higher education and research organizations, enterprises and organizations, including foreign experts).
In Phase 4, a test (IELTS, TOEFL, TestDaf, GMAT, GRE, etc.) is conducted to assess the level of foreign language proficiency and / or foreign language analysis capabilities among candidates who have successfully passed the previous stages in accordance with the requirements of a foreign partner with the participation of international certified certification centers.
Candidates with a valid international certificate confirming their knowledge at the level required by foreign educational and scientific institutions are exempted from the test.
PROCEDURE FOR SELECTION OF CANDIDATES FOR TRAINING AND TRAINING ABROAD ABROAD
